Dr. David Samadi was born in 1964 in Iran. At 15 years old, David together with his brother left their country due to the Iranian revolution to continue with their studies. They went to school in Belgium and London before moving to USA where they finished their high school education.

Samadi joined Stony Brook University where he attained a degree in biochemistry on scholarship. David managed to finish his post graduate training in urology at Montefiore Medical Care. He got an opportunity to use his skills in Columbia Presbyterian Hospital where he later joined Mt. Sinai School of Medicine. At the institution, he achieved the status of the Vice Chair of Department of Urology.

Dr. David then transferred to Lenox Hill Hospital where he went with his staff members so as to help the patients in that health center. While conducting his services, he became the Vice Chairman of Urology as well as Professor of Urology at Hofstra North Shore School of Medicine.

Before the television program, Dr. David had started a radio program which used to be aired weekly in 2015.
